Its yr Life is a novel written by Tempany Deckert and Tristan Bancks. It was first copyrighted in 2009. It is about two teenagers that get an English assignment. This assignment asks them to send e-mails to each other, to see what another person’s life is like in a different country. During this book the 2 teens express their feelings and their deepest, darkest secrets.
Both characters have completely different points of view and are very different from each other. However as the book progresses they get to know the other person more. They become closer and feel like they can tell the other person anything. Both characters come to realise that they are not so different after all.
The two main characters go through a lot of problems during their assignment. Sim has to deal with a girl moving into his foster home, finding things that have him terrified and have his caretakers acting rather suspicious. Whereas Milla has to deal with family issues, footprints outside her window and a pretty messed up brother. They help each other trough all their problems and get through alright.
I definitely recommend this book to anybody aged 13+. It is a very funny, outgoing and interesting book. It is full of secrets, lies and even the occasional article. I learnt things about Australia I would’ve never known. This book is amazing as well as intellectual.
